About Us

We are a Christ inspired community that celebrates diversity and embraces relational faith.

Relational Faith is faith that relates to the world around us with Love, Acceptance and Openness. Respecting all people, animals and nature as part of God's diverse creation.


AIMS:

  • To meet people where they are.
  • To broaden expectations of Christianity and Christians by proclaiming full inclusion with no priorities.
  • To fight exclusion and isolation through volunteering and community work.
  • To make our meetings fun, lively and relevant to people of all faith and journeys (and none).


What We Do

As part of our commitment to support our local community, MCC Brighton is helping to run a number of projects with local organisations. But this is not all we do.

MCC Brighton is involved in Pride, TransPride and other events in Brighton and Hove, as well as being aware of the needs of the community and helping address those needs where possible.

Street Church @ The Old Steine - This is part of our outreach to the Street Community and beyond, it is our hope and prayer that no-one is excluded from worshipping God. Our ethos is A Church Without Walls, A Faith Without Limits, A Love Without Expectations. Come and see us by the Victoria Fountain, in the Old Steine Gardens, every Wednesday at 3 pm. We offer prayer, communion, hot drinks, snacks, and fellowship. 


Street Church @ The Level - Similar to our ministry at the Old Steine, we meet near the children's play area and the Level Cafe, every Sunday from 4-6 pm. We offer prayer, communion, hot drinks, snacks (including donations from Greggs), and fellowship. We also show our online worship on a large screen. 




Pride - Pride is an important part of MCC Brighton's year, and we look forward to taking part. The opportunity to bring Jesus' message of loving inclusion to so many people is greatly appreciated. Watch this space for news of events!

Bible Cafe Takeaway - A relaxed and informal online Bible Study. Everyone is encouraged to come and take part, with all opinions welcome. Tuesdays from 7 pm. Click here to join.


Sunday Worship - We meet at the Level, and online here, for worship every Sunday from 5-6pm, this is followed by a time for socialising. All are warmly welcomed.
